Donation Drive for SPCA Singapore & other charities and causes

(UPDATE 6/10/2021 - to date, over 100kg of towels and bedding diverted from landfill/incineration and have been donated to good causes!)

This is ongoing drive to collect your old towels, blankets, bedding and cloths which will be donated regularly to SPCA Singapore and other animal charities and clinics for use with the animals. In recent months, I have also received alot of almost perfect bedlinens and towels and these have been donated to women's shelters and some have gone to The Philippines to help families in need.

In short, I will divert the items as needed, depending on what you send and the need at the charities and causes.
But everything WILL be donated and go to a good cause to be reused.

HOW TO DONATE

Contact me at paula@ububoutique.com and we can arrange how to get your donations.
They do not need to be perfect (wear & tear and holes etc are ok!) but please make sure everything is clean.

 WHAT TO DONATE

✅ Towels (Bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, sports towels)
✅ Washcloths
✅ Bedding (bedlinens, sheets, quilt covers, pillow covers)

If you have something you think could be of use, please do contact me and I will check.

HOW THESE DONATIONS HELP

At the animal shelters, the towels and blankets are used for things like lining pet cages, cleaning, washing and drying the animals, providing more comfortable bedding, and covering cages etc when pets need a rest from the light.

The less worn out items I set aside and send to the womens shelter (alot of these women & kids arrive with little belongings of their own) or the families in the Philippines, where they are often in desperate need of these items.

WHY YOU SHOULD DONATE 

Rather than throwing out your old towels and blankets and adding to Singapore's waste problem, let's repurpose them. You get rid of "waste" & do good at the same time.
