Our Materials

UBU Swimwear uses a luxury Italian fabric made from ECONYL®, a yarn that is 100% regenerated from post-consumer materials. It is, in our opinion, the very best ecological option for swimwear.  It has excellent UV protection at UPF 50+ (the maximum obtainable) and is impressively comfortable and extremely durable. Tests have also shown our fabric to be two times more resistant to degradation from chlorine and sun creams and oils - meaning your swimwear will last for seasons and seasons to come.  That said, we do still advise all our customers to follow our Swimwear Care guide to keep your swimwear at its very best, so make sure to read that.

Our Turkish Towels are handwoven in Denizli, Turkey by master weavers using 100% Turkish Cotton. Our manufacturer works with the weavers to provide the equipment needed to the weavers own homes, keeping this ancient art alive.

Made from 100% Turkish Cotton, our towels are luxuriously soft to the touch - in fact, they will get softer after several washes. Though they are lightweight, they are very absorbent and quick drying. They are more energy efficient than normal terrycloth towels.

Turkish Towels are very versatile - fabulous for lying on the beach or by the pool, they can be used as a picnic blanket or even as a coverup or shawl and are perfect for travelling as they take up alot less space than normal towels.

All of our turkish towels come pre-washed so there is no shrinkage on washing.

Please recycle your packaging! | UBU Boutique

As much as we can, we are using the best, most environmentally-friendly options we can source for all our packaging and supplies - for example, biodegradable, compostable packaging and sugarcane waste paper.
